Rhino Rugby has signed a four-year partnership deal with Rugby Israel to supply playing kit across all representative sides, training kit, equipment and matchday rugby balls for all home international games.
The fast-improving European nation join the likes of Guinness Pro12 Rugby, the British & Irish Lions, England Rugby, the Welsh Rugby Union, the RBS 6 Nations and, of course, Rugby Europe, as official partners of Rhino. “It is a remarkable milestone for us to have a partnership with a fantastic brand like Rhino Rugby,” explains Amir Tito, chief executive, Rugby Israel. “We believe that the combination of great motivation and colourful experience will lead us to conquer the highest peaks. It will be a great privilege to climb there with Rhino Rugby.”
Israel currently play in the Rugby Europe Conference 1 South – the fourth tier of European rugby – with their recent campaign including victories over Croatia, Cyprus and Andorra, before falling to Malta in April. They currently sit second in the table, a point behind Malta.
Rhino’s role will also include support of Rugby Israel’s initiative to get more children playing rugby schools. “We’re very pleased to be working with Rugby Israel,” explains Anthony Locke, managing director, Rhino Rugby. “We hope that our products will help the players and coaches achieve the success they’re aiming for and we’re very happy to help promote the playing of rugby more widely around the world.”
