Richmond Rugby have become the latest club to sign a match ball partnership with Rhino, covering both the men’s and women’s teams.

The international-standard Rhino Vortex Pro match ball will now be used for fixtures in National 1 for the men, and the Women’s Championship South as Rhino continues its growth across all levels of the game.

Rhino and Richmond Rugby already have an existing partnership in contact products, meaning the south-west London club will be working closer with the world’s No.1 rugby equipment supplier than ever before, including giving continual feedback to help develop future balls, hit shields and scrum machines.

Keiron Blackburn, general manager, Rhino said: “We’ve been working with Richmond Rugby for a very long time, so have the utmost respect for what they’re trying to achieve at all levels of the game and with this new ball partnership we’re looking forward to playing a key role in their future success. National 1 and the Women’s Championship South are hugely competitive leagues, and we hope consistently playing with the Rhino Vortex Pro is going to help them in their bids to win their respective divisions.”

Richard Castle, commercial manager, Richmond Rugby said: “Richmond Rugby are proud to extend our relationship with Rhino with this ball partnership. The playing team have tested the Vortex Pro and were impressed with its performance. As well as using the Vortex Pro ball we are excited about introducing other Rhino balls throughout the club to help improve all our players’ performances.”
