The very best rugby league players in Wales will now be playing international matches with Rhino’s elite-level rugby balls after Rhino and Wales Rugby League (WRL) entered a three-year partnership.
"We're delighted to be partnering with Rhino, a well known and respected name in the industry," said Richard Hibbard, CEO of Wales RL. “We're excited to be the first partner within rugby league to showcase the Recyclone ball [made from recycled rubber] with both our international players and players in the community game. We want to do what's right for people in communities across Wales, and doing what we can to be as environmentally friendly as possible is part of that commitment. “The additional pitch kit includes post pads and tackle shields, which will allow us to create an environment that feels like home wherever we play on Welsh soil. “In addition to the partnerships with JES Group and Buffoon Media, we’re really pleased that Rhino are the latest organisation to work alongside us to achieve shared goals.”
