Rhino has cemented its place as the fastest-growing rugby ball manufacturer with the launch of a new match ball, the Rhino Comet
The Comet will be priced at just £39.95 per ball, or in bundles of 15 (£295 – £19.67 per ball) and 25 (£395 – £15.80 per ball) and combines quality and value to make for the perfect match ball for clubs, schools and universities at all levels.
Tested to ensure optimum flight performance for both kicking and passing in all conditions, the ball also has a new ‘star’ grip for superior handling.
Rhino is now the world’s No.2 supplier of rugby balls and the fastest-growing brand in the market. In addition to being the No.1 training equipment manufacturer, Rhino supplies 78 rugby nations with match balls as official supplier to both Asia Rugby and Rugby Europe with the Vortex Elite; is the official match ball of the Global Rapid Rugby League in Asia, Australasia and the Pacific; and supplied the official training ball to the 2017 British & Irish Lions.
At grassroots, Rhino’s match balls are now used by more than half of the clubs in the top four divisions of Scottish rugby; the ADM Leagues in Lancashire; National One clubs Plymouth Albion and Chinnor; and an ever-growing list of university, clubs and schools across the UK, including the annual Varsity Match between Oxford University and Cambridge University.
“The Comet perfectly complements the extensive range of Rhino match and training balls,” explains Dave Reynish, managing director, Rhino Global. “We believe in ensuring that quality balls, tested for the unique British conditions, should also be affordable for clubs at all levels, and the Comet achieves both of these vital goals.
“From the Vortex Elite through to the Comet, and down to the Tornado, our match ball range offers something for all levels, and our training ball collection is likewise hugely competitive, ensuring clubs can get balls for their sessions for as little as £4.”
Available in sizes 4 and 5, individual Comets are priced at £39.95. Ball bundles include 15 x Comets for £295 and 25 x Comets for £395.
