Rhino has been confirmed as the official supplier of training and technical equipment to England Rugby for the next three years.

The new deal will see the current Six Nations champions using Rhino’s world-class range of equipment up to and beyond Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan – a competition England will be among the favourites to win.

Rhino’s technical equipment plays a great supporting role in preparing the team for international rugby.

Rhino has been an official part of England’s supporting team for more than 30 years, a period during which they've won multiple Five and Six Nations championships, as well as the Rugby World Cup in 2003. More recently, England completed an 18-game unbeaten streak and won back-to-back Six Nations titles.

England head coach Eddie Jones said: “Rhino’s technical equipment plays a great supporting role in preparing the team for international rugby.”

Whether it’s with England, Japan, Bath or Saracens, Rhino equipment has been an integral part of my coaching and playing career – it’s simply the best there is

World No.2 side England has benefited from using not only Rhino’s famous Dictator scrum machine, but also its extensive range of tackle bags and shields, jackal rings, lineout hoops and specialist breakdown equipment, including the Collision King.

England forwards coach Steve Borthwick commented: “Whether it’s with England, Japan, Bath or Saracens, Rhino equipment has been an integral part of my coaching and playing career – it’s simply the best there is.”

Rhino CEO, Reg Clark, added: “Rugby has changed a lot since we first started working together more than 30 years ago but, like England, we’ve continued to evolve and meet the training needs of world-class coaches and players. We’re very proud of our ongoing work with Eddie Jones and his team as they look to mount a serious challenge at Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan.”

The announcement reinforces Rhino’s position as the No.1 supplier of technical and training equipment in rugby. Earlier this year, Rhino also supplied the British & Irish Lions on the tour to New Zealand with training balls and equipment – the third consecutive tour in which its been the official supplier.

Rhino is also the official matchball supplier to Rugby Europe and this year’s Varsity Match at Twickenham. Uniquely, Rhino is also providing the teamwear for both Oxford and Cambridge universities (men and women).
