Rhino, the world’s No.1 rugby training equipment supplier, has today announced a landmark partnership with Scotland Rugby League (SRL), becoming the official and exclusive supplier of rugby balls, equipment and accessories to the governing body.

The three-year agreement will see all Scotland national teams – including senior men and women, A, junior pathwaysstudents, wheelchair, PDRL, and the Origin Fixture – train and play with Rhino balls. In addition, Rhino will hold the naming rights to the Men’s Premiership, which will now be known as the Rhino Sponsored Men’s Premiership.

Rhino already has a proven track record in rugby league, having served as the official ball supplier for the Betfred Super League for six years, and having signed a three-year match ball partnership with Wales Rugby League in 2024.

“This partnership represents a major step forward for Scotland Rugby League,” said Barry McGuffog, Operations and League Director at Scotland Rugby League. “Rhino’s reputation for excellence and innovation in rugby equipment is second to none. Their support across all levels of the game in Scotland – from grassroots to the elite – will make a huge impact over the coming years. Having Rhino as a partner will ensure our players, coaches and competitions benefit from the very best equipment and resources available.”

As part of the deal, Rhino match balls will become the exclusive ball used across all eligible National Leagues and Scottish Cups. Rhino will also provide significant in-kind support, supplying free balls and equipment throughout the partnership, including training and match balls, pitch kits, post protectors and kicking tees.

“Scotland Rugby League is a proud and growing part of the global rugby family, and we’re delighted to be supporting them at every level of the game,” said Keiron Blackburn, general manager at Rhino. “From international test matches to grassroots development, this partnership will showcase Rhino’s commitment to the sport while helping SRL to achieve its ambitions on and off the field.”

The initial three-year agreement begins immediately and includes an option to extend for a further two years.
