MD Robert Taylor landed an inaugural contract on his ‘home turf’ so to speak of Tawa RFC in Wellington, and good weather this week has enabled the Rhino team led by Dutch ace Bas Lodewijkx (the Robin van Persie of the articificial turf installation world) to press ahead – they look set to complete the project in three days. Already signs are that the market for artificial turf sports surfaces in New Zealand is set to go through an exponential growth phase.
These are heady days for Rhino-Turf – Rhino Asia has two full pitches under their belt at Centaurs RFC and ACS school in Singapore, and another in Kuala Lumpur about to commence installation. In addition back in the UK, the London Irish training ground pitch at Sunbury has been well received, and we are delighted to have been commissioned by Ealing Trailfinders to install a full new playing pitch for next season.
