Rhino were delighted to be involved in an elite coaches conference run over two days in Jersey by Esportif International who are widely regarded as the global leaders in the management of rugby players and coaches - their clients include Matt Giteau, Jonathan Davies, James Haskell and Jerome Kaino amongst many others. Esportif had four speakers over the course of the conference – Lewis Silkin lawyer Owen Eastwood spoke of his role in putting in place motivational programmes for clients such as the South African Proteas cricket team and Nato; newly appointed Scotland coach Vern Cotter talked about his role as coach of the highly successful ASM Clermont Auvergne side in France for the previous 8 years; Scotland’s new Director of Rugby Scott Johnson talked about coaching attack and Rhino’s specialist skills coach Richie Gray talked about the breakdown and his market leading range of equipment developed with us in recent years. Other attendees included Stephen Jones, backs coach at Wasps, Alex King backs coach at Northampton Saints, Llanelli Scarlets Head Coach Simon Easterby and Richard Cockerill Director of Rugby at Leicester. In addition to the formal programme a great deal of significant information exchange and interaction occurred in the course of the event.
