Rhino Rugby has been shortlisted in two categories at the Awards Dinner to be held during Rugby Expo at Twickenham on November 14th.
In the Sponsor of the Year category, for which Rhino has been shortlisted twice in three years, it’s in tough competition from AIG, Admiral and Swalec. Rhino was nominated for its Sponsorship of the British & Irish Lions tour this summer, for which the company was the Official Supplier of scrummaging machines, contact and training equipment; Official Ball Supplier and in addition supplied the Barbarians with teamwear and apparel for the historic game with the Lions in Hong Kong, via rights acquired by the Lions.
The Rhino Ngage scrum machine, invented by Jason Allen, is shortlisted in the Rugby Expo Innovation of the Year category and will be trying to emulate the Rhino Collision King invented by Richie Gray which carried off this Award in 2011.
