The Rugby Football League and Super League Europe have today announced three year deals with Rhino Rugby in respect of match balls for the Super League, the Challenge Cup and all domestic rugby league competitions. This represents a significant breakthrough for Rhino not just in the rugby league code but also in the rugby ball product area.

Already Official Ball Supplier to the British & Irish Lions tour to Australia next year (following the same role in South Africa in 2009), and to the RaboDirect PRO12 in the union code, these deals are a further strong statement of intent in respect of Rhino's ambitions as a global rugby ball brand. Already for the last 5 years Official Suppliers of training equipment to St Helens the deal also represent a very significant breakthrough for Rhino as a rugby league brand.

Rhino's director in charge of rugby league operations Tony Colquitt commented: "we are absolutely delighted to have made this breakthrough and I am personally looking forward very much indeed to building the Rhino brand further in rugby league in the coming years".
